We went to the restaurant a few days ago. I want my money back! (if only that was possible). Over priced for its location, and pretentious from the inside. Claims to be a 'top restaurant' i'm not sure why. Safe to say I wil never recommend to anyone.

Me and my husband were very dissapointed with the food at Madhu's. the food was extremely oily, and it felt like you were eating a bowl full of oil. The food was not tasty, and I would ot recommend this restaurant to anyone who has high cholesterol, obesity or diabetes.

Nice decor but the quality of the food has gone down hill from previous experiences. And its price does not match its location. So mnay more cheaper restaurants around the corner which are at a far cheaper price and yes they are better.
The wedding food has gone down hill, and now the restaurant. Looks like Sanjay has made his money and now just cannot be asked. Big shame....

We went to Madhus last night (Saturday) as it was Diwali. Big Mistake! Be aware that if only 2 of you are going like myself and my husband amongst groups of 10, the service will be very poor. Also if you're vegetarian and teetotal you're not a money spinner for them and so the service is c***, on a busy night.
We were sat in the middle of the restaurant sticking out like a sore thumb despite having booked our table on the internet well in advance. We asked if we could sit upstairs where there was more atmosphere and the manager just replied rudely NO! The service was very poor from the manager and the lady at the door, who is snotty and quite frankly up her own backside.
The food is ok but a bit too oily and bland. Nothing to write home about and not worth the London prices paid in Southall.

Madhus Resturant in southall is known as being the best resturant in the whole of the West London area. They provide excellent service even when it is extremly busy, the ambience is outstanding better than i have seen at many resturants. I would say i that my favourite dish is the chilli chicken, which is cooked to perfection just like the other variety of dishes that they provide. Madhus Resturant has the mosssssssssssssst tastiest King Prawn masala as well as the Dall Makhni and ohhh yeaaaaaa i will never forget the most delious karahi Gosht, i must say Madhus has done it once again, at first i never beleived it but then when i actually tried the food it was verrrrrrrrry yummy and delious cooked with the finest herbs and spices.
I went to Madhus for my Birthday and i must say that the staff at Madhus are extremly friendly the atmosphere is just absoulety gorgeous! i give it just 110%
i recommend it for many different ocassions, belive me having dinner at Madhus will be a night you will never forget.

We ate at the resturant on the 23rd September 2007. The food was nice and the waiters attempted to make the experience pleasurable as possible.
This was short lived when the resturant bill arrived and we noticed that Madhu's Cocktail menu which we were shown did not display prices! Whilst we should have asked the waiters for prices it is unreasonable that they failed to display prices. We were significantly overcharged for drinks and the mangement made no attempt to discuss and resolve our concerns....management service was poor!

We had great expectations for Madhu's as it was recommended to us by a family friend, unfortunatly our experience was not very enjoyable.
The food was ok at best,a bit oily and lacked any real flavour, but that was not our main complaint...
The service was absolutely appaling, the staff were stuck up and at times rude, they continually bother you during your meal trying to sell you more naan bread, drinks and extras.
we found them to be very intrusive through out our meal which totaaly killed the evening for us.
When we finally mentioned this to the manager all he said was no one else has complained about their waiter!! how rude is that???????
Will not be going back again, obviously ,oh and btw
it was also on the pricey side.

Unfortunatly Madhu's did not live up to any of our expectations, myself and my wife were dining there with friends of ours from London and felt almost embarrased at how poor the service was.
The food was a little on the oily side and lacked any real indian flavours.
The chicken may as well have come Tesco's ready meals section in Southall as there would not have been any difference except for the price.
The prices were on the higher end but were not justified by the food or service.
Will definatly not be going back or recommending to others.
If you wish to truly experience fine indian dining and reasonable prices i would try elsewhere.

I visited for the first time a couple of days ago, with my wife and friends. Right away, let me say that food-wise it sits in the top quartile of Indian restaurants I've eaten at- and thats a few. The food is fairly innovative and their take on "standards" seemed interesting and full-flavoured. Prices are a little higher than average , but not outrageous, and the decor decent.
The service was somewhat slow and a little self-possessed. They are keen- perhaps too keen - sell you another beer, or more naan or whatever. They seem much less keen to do the basics like give you a food menu before they take a drinks order, to take your order or get the food to the table reasonably promptly. The servers are perfectly pleasant- its just that, well, their priorities are not entirely the same as the diners' . Still I liked the food well enough to go back, and I'd suggest that others who might be a a little jaded by the sameness of food in many Indian restaurants might consider it too. If on the other hand what you're looking for is familiarity at bargain prices, and out in under the hour, then this isn't it.
Parking isn't easy.

What can we say except totally dissapointed, the food was ordinary at best
and the service was stuck up and arrogant.
Decor was very much mutton dressed up as lamb and talking of lamb
it was dry and lacked any real flavour, its a good job they are tight with the
portions.
Trying to convince people that this is a top london restaurant by charging london
prices is not a good idea.
will definatly not be returning or recommending to anyone.
