A well-informed foodie friend of mine took me here this evening and it was just fantastic. I love REAL Chinese food and spent time studying in Chengdu last year and this is the first Chinese restaurant in London that made me feel like I was back in China.
95% of the clientele are Chinese and the food is NOT for wimpy palates. If you want rubbish, sickly and compromised Chinese food please go elsewhere. But if you want to spend an evening gnawing on braised pigs feet, cold spicy beef tendon, chili crab piled high with szechuan peppercorns and delicious fried long beans with pigs ear and chilies - then this is the place for you.
Prices are extremely reasonable and there is often a queue between 7 and 9:30 but it is well worth it.
Service is very efficient and fast!
