Can't believe the reviews on this site!! Great service, healthy food, fantastic atmosphere! There's a bar downstairs for chic cocktails afterwards... What more could you ask for? There are loyalty cards and they promise to get you in and out in your lunch hour! My new mid-work // after-work hangout!

Shish was disappointing. Food was good i would say ok. but service was really bad. the waitress which was serving my table was unfriendly. she looked like she didnt want to be there. we were waiting for her to come and take the order for half an hour! and the restaurant was empty!!

Really poor service! it took an hour just to get my food and i actually had to go up and order from the chef as, after 30mins, my waiter still hadn't taken my order, pretty disgusting really! the food was good but reallly not worth the wait, especially as the restaurant was empty! very disapointing!

Never eaten in but always used to grab a takeaway shish for lunch as they were SO delcious. Freshly cooked in front of you, very fresh ingredients and excellent fruit juices. Highly recommended.

I went for a quick meal before a night out and had really helpful and friendly service.
We ordered non meat dishes, falafal and halloumi kebabs and weren't too dissapointed. The potatoes were undercooked slightly and the falafal were a bit to dry and hard buy the salad, veg and halloumi were just right.
Cheap and cheerful, this place isn't for foodies but a decent inexpensive stomach-lining option.

The team at Shish Hoxton looked after us very well even though they were very busy. We had the lamb special which was fantastic and tried one of the shish organic beers that tasted great. We loved the atmosphere of the chefs cooking in their open kitchen . Chilling out in the bar over a few cocktails was good, and we noticed they squashed real fruit unlike so many others using cartons. We stayed so long 'celebrating a new contract sort of bash' that we ended up taking a take away home of their amazing salads & dips (they call them mezze) and some home made bread that we enjoyed in the garden! We are all definately coming back!

This food at this place is awful, the humus is like wallpaper paste no signs of the lemon garlic or tahini. The meat for the wrap was burnt and @£8 ridiculously over priced, couscous was blane. You are much better of on the edgeware road or at an ocakbasi restaurant in the north /east of london. The service was however very good.

Good couscous in London...and lovely kebabs. I wish there was a bit more sauce for the food but thats a minor quibble. Have eaten here 3 times now and it was great on each occasion.

RUBBISH!! had the mixed hot starter plate - everything on this was average or worse. i then had the lamb kofte with salad for main course - tasty enough but very oily, and the salad was a limp, wilted garnish of a thing. my girlfriend had the szechuan beef kebab which she had to leave half of as it was so chewy. clearly yet another trendy, overpriced hoxton eatery.

Pretty good value for money. Personally, I found the food ever so slightly dry, but then I tend to like my food quite juicy. I reckon this is a good place to catch up with people, especially families, for lunch or dinner. It reminded me a bit of Wagamammas, but the Middle Eastern version.
