Went to Yi-ban on my birthday and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was great, ringing with the beautiful jazz sounds, however, volume was slightly loud. My hubby and i really enjoyed the food and the staff were warm and friendly

I've been to this place tons of times for yum-cha and used to love their food. I've even recommended so many friends to this place.
However, my recent visit to the restaurant was disappointed as they have scrapped off a lot of dishes from the yum-cha menu and the standard of the food appeared to have dropped.

Went there for Lunch yesterday and was the finest Chinese i've had. The Dim Sum selection was fantastic, with the service living up to London expectations. Will be making another visit very soon.

My husband and I went to Yi Ban for dinner last night with our four month old daughter.... the food was splendid and one of the best Chinese meals I have had in London at a reasonable price. Expect to pay Chinatown prices but with better service. The food was excellent and very fresh. We would definitely go there again. The restaurant overlooks the city airport landing strip and if you are fond of watching planes land, you get a good view. I'm sure as we go there as our daughter gets older she will love the planes.
There was live singing (we went on a Friday night) which livened the place although it was a little too loud.

This restaurant serves food that was pretty good. Traditional Chinese food. The atmosphere was also great, and plenty of space for you to move around. The waiters were friendly compared to some other restaurants when in central london. I'd recommend this if you're in the Docklands area.

we went here on a weekend trip to london. excellent food, good service and amazing views. on saturday nights there is live music, a duo who can play and sing everything, chill out and stuff to get up and dance to.only criticism drinks far to expensive, no need for it!

I visited this restaurant for a meal last night and rated the food very good, though I didn't find it cheap but considering the view and the fact that there was entertainment I suppose the price was justified. Though I found the drinks exspensive £3 80 for a bottle of water and £5 30 for a white wine spritzer. Also on being presented with the bill on paying by card we were asked if we were tipping. I presumed we had allready done that as there was a 10% service charge allready added. We had the set £25 meal which was excellent but would have preffered a few less savoury dishes and a dessert instead.
We were recommended to this restaurant by a friend.
