Brought my Mum and Dad and Girlfriend up on Sat to take advantage of the 2 courses for 9.95 menu. food was very good and service was excellent. the Hazelnut and Chocolate Roulade is to die for. 2 courses for 4 people, one bottle of wine, 2 cokes and service £61. On the flip side was empty and i wouldn't advise going too early. As a result the atmosphere suffered.

I went to the Langley last Saturday and it was fabulous. The beautiful people decended in droves and it was a great place to people watch. Our cocktails tasted perfect and the music was quality house. I would definatley go back. The best place in Covent Garden.*****

Do not waste you time going here. This used to be a decent place but has degraded massively in the past 6 months. I had myself and 7 others on a door list for Friday, got there on time and they knocked all of us back. The useless doorman even tried to tell me I wasn't on the doorlist after I showed him I was. This place tried hard to be something it clearly isn't. It's overpriced and the service has always been terrible.

Have never ate in this bar but often visit it with the girls for birthdays and events and their cocktails are out of this world!
Happy hour is the best time to go and sample the cocktails. The bar man are all really friendly in a non sleazy way and always willing to knock up a new cocktail for you!
Good atmosphere and good music!
Bad point - NO PHONE SIGNAL, Its underground. So dont tell anyone to "Call when your outside and I'll come and meet you" cos it'll never happen !!

The Langley offered and delievered a brillliant service from the atmosphere, through the service/quality of the staff and food.
The food was delicious and came without any delays.
The staff were smiley, friendly and had that extra bit of corrisma that made our night so enjoyable.

Visited the Langley for a quiet dinner with my partner, both had a great time.
Ordered cocktails on arrival, both made well, flavoursome and proportioned correctly, followed by Pommery Wintertime champagne, lovely taste.
Salmon skewers and duck spring rolls to start, both cooked perfectly, delicious.
I had the "char-grilled Fillet Steak with caramelised sweet potato chips and Szechuan peppercorn sauce", and my partner the "wok-fried Marinated Chicken with crisp vegetables and cashew nuts". The steak was large and properly cooked the way I ordered (medium-rare), chips fantastic, and a factastic peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately, there wasn't much else going on my plate, but what was there was excellent.
The wok-fried chicken was also very good, large serving and tasty.
We finished with the "Swiss Mountain Chocolate Cheesecake with dark continental chocolate sauce" which was a lovely way to end the meal.
We booked as part of the latenightlondon 50% off promotion, service was good, fast and polite. Went on a Tuesday evening, so the place was fairly empty, and we were some of the last to leave.
At full price, the restaurant isn't expensive, but with 50% off, was excellent value!

I didn't realise it was mainly a cocktail lounge when we booked a 50% of meal. I was pretty stunned by the price of drinks - over £10 for a (large) G&T and a bottle of Becks.
We then went into the eating area which is a bit like a dinder. The staff were really nice, but two of the three starters (around £4 each) we ordered weren't available. The mains (about £7)were pretty poor quality with cheap ingredients. I had the lamb burger which was dry, with fries, which were only just warm. However, the 50% off deal meant we got three starters and three mains for just over £20. I guess you get what you pay for but I won't go again.

Very very very very bad service! If you fancy a chilled out birthday party DON'T go there! The manager was unhelpful and had no time for his clients. There was no one to serve a table of 15 people for a birthday party so we had to order our drinks and nibbles from the bar. The barwoman was following her manager's steps in unfriendliness and hostility. I was actually given the tray of 15 wine glasses plus 4 bottles of wine to take them to my guests as no waiter would serve us!!! It is a shame because the ambience is not that bad and luckily I had a good time INSPITE the effort by the management to spoil it.
Suggestions to staff/management: Go and do some training in communication and social skills. And don't open a social place if you don't like people.
